# A small studio that argues with the brief.

Lines & Frames is a research-driven design studio. We work with startups and SaaS companies on the decisions that shape a product, then design the surfaces those decisions imply.

## How we work

### Evidence over adjectives

Ten support tickets and a funnel export settle arguments that a mood board extends. We start from what already happened, and we bring it to the first meeting.

### Smaller, finished

One surface at production quality proves more than twelve mockups. We would rather hand over less work that survives contact with engineering.

### Write the decisions down

The value is not the screens. It is that the next hundred decisions get cheaper because the reasoning is legible to whoever arrives after us.

### Say when it is the wrong project

Half the briefs that reach us describe a redesign when the problem is a number, or a number when the problem is coherence. Saying so early is the cheapest part of the engagement.

Rooted in Moldova, working with teams across Europe and North America. Small on purpose: the people who take the brief are the people who do the work.
